How do I choose my treatment?
Just ask yourself: Is my primary goal relaxation, spending time with a loved one, stress reduction, or to address a specific skin condition such as dry skin, enlarged pores or fine wrinkles? Once you identify what you want to achieve through your visit, we can easily assist you in making recommendations. Email or call 501-321-4444 seven days a week and we’d be glad to answer any questions you have and assist you in planning a spa experience centered around your interests.
How do I schedule service(s)?
Call 501-321-4444. So that each guest receives the best service possible, we ask that you call ahead to schedule your appointment. To secure your appointment, please have a valid credit card or gift certificate ready. Walk-ins are welcome, but are based on availability of staff and current reservations. In order to help our team exceed your expectations, please communicate any special requests, therapist gender preferences or medical conditions at the time of reservation.
What happens if I am unable to keep my original appointment?
Because your spa experience is reserved especially for you, we kindly ask for advance notice if you need to change the date or time of your reservation. Please provide 24 hour notice should you need to change your appointment or cancel. No shows, same day cancellations or changes made in less than the given time frame are subject to full payment via the credit card or gift certificate used to secure the reservation.
When should I arrive for my treatment(s)?
In order to receive the “full spa experience,” please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first spa treatment. This will allow time to unwind, as well as, complete client paperwork and enjoy our meditation suite.
What if I arrive late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment. Your treatment will end on time so the next guest will not be delayed. Payment for the full treatment time is expected. Should you arrive too late to receive your service, advance payment is required and you will be asked to reschedule for a later time or date.
What should I wear?
Arrive as you wish. We recommend comfortable clothing. For extended services, you will be offered a robe and sandals to don while you relax with us. Lockers are provided to keep your valuables safe. For facial and massage treatments, please disrobe to your level of comfort. If you are receiving a body treatment, please disrobe completely and use the provided robe and slippers. Please note during all treatments, the body is fully draped except the portion of your body that is being treated. The utmost discretion will be used to ensure privacy at all times.
Should I shave before my treatment?
Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatment, pedicure, or hair removal service. Men receiving facials should avoid shaving 4 hours prior to treatment.
Whom should I inform of special health issues?
In order to avoid disappointment, please notify the spa receptionist at the time of reservation if you are currently under a doctor’s care or have any special medical considerations. This includes but is not limited to recent surgery, allergies, high blood pressure, cold sores (for facials), fungal infections, pregnancy and cancer. Special health considerations should also be listed on the guest registration form. Should you have a sudden illness, cold and/or fever within 24 hours of appointment date, please be considerate of our team and guests by calling prior to your appointment and stay home until you’re well.
I’m pregnant. What services are available?
Spa Botanica offers a variety of spa treatments for expectant moms. Skincare experts recommend a facial to address hormonal changes in your skin; a foot massage to ease soreness and swelling; as well as a pedicure to keep your feet looking good while you may not be able to care for them yourself! Prenatal massage is a great way to manage back pain and sleeplessness. For the safety of mom and baby, please note company policy prohibits our team from performing massage during the first trimester of pregnancy or during any high-risk pregnancy. Baths and hot body wraps are not permitted during any stage of pregnancy.
Do you offer spa services for children?
Spa Botanica offers select services for guests as young as 5 years old as long as they are continually accompanied by a parent or guardian and behave like ladies and gentlemen. Children younger than 16 are not permitted in the spa unless receiving a treatment. Minors will be scheduled with a therapist of the same gender and are asked to bring a bathing suit to wear during massage treatments. A signed parental consent is required for all guests under age 18.
How much should I tip my therapist?
Gratuity is not required, but greatly appreciated. 15-20% gratuity is customary for service that meets or exceeds expectations.
